DAVID G. MEAD, PE APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AT EPSTEIN
David Mead, PE has been chosen Vice President of Business Development for A. Epstein and Sons International, Inc. (EPSTEIN) announced Mickey Kupperman, EPSTEIN's President and CEO.
"Given recent world events, architecture and engineering firms are expanding their focus to serve an increasing variety of industries," stated Kupperman. "David brings a wealth of experience in both the private and public sectors to help EPSTEIN identify and ultimately provide these industries with important architectural and engineering services."
Mead, 50, a registered professional engineer, brings over 20 years of sales, marketing and project management experience in the commercial, industrial and government sectors to EPSTEIN. Most recently, Mead provided marketing and business development services to the architecture/engineering industry as an independent consultant, including an interim assignment as Regional Manager for ASCG, Inc. of Phoenix, Arizona, a Native American-owned architecture and engineering firm.
Previous to that, Mead served as Director of Federal Programs Business Development for Fluor Daniel, Inc., one of the world's largest engineering and construction firms. Here he was responsible for sales and marketing of construction and environmental services to the Department of Defense and other federal agencies. Prior to that position, Mead served as Director of Business Development for Commercial Programs at Fluor. In this position, he was responsible for the sales and marketing of environmental and construction management services to the Midwest industrial market.
Mead holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and attended the Graduate School of Business at DePaul University, Chicago.
