MICHAEL R. FINK APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT AT A. EPSTEIN AND SONS INTERNATIONAL, INC.
Michael R. Fink has been appointed a vice president in the civil engineering unit of A. Epstein and Sons International, Inc. (Epstein), the Chicago-based architecture, engineering, construction, interior design and graphic design firm, announced Tom Smiles, Epstein senior vice president and head of civil engineering.
Fink, 50, a registered professional engineer, brings more than 25 years of civil and project engineering experience in the commercial, industrial and government sectors to Epstein. Most recently, he served as project engineer and project manager at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in Chicago. Previous to that he served as project civil engineer at both Globetrotters Engineering Corporation and Perkins & Will, both in Chicago.
Fink is a licensed professional engineer in 12 states and a licensed land surveyor in Indiana and Illinois. He holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Valparaiso University.
Fink is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers and is president-elect of the Indiana Society of Professional Engineers. He has held adjunct professorships in the construction technology department of both Purdue University/Calumet in Hammond, Indiana and at Oakton Community College in Skokie, Illinois.
