The Midway Terminal Design
Associates, a consortium of over 20 firms led by Epstein,
developed the Chicago Midway Airport New Passenger Terminal,
a $450 million facility that replaced the existing terminal
built in 1947. The project’s phases - including
the construction of the new terminal, a new parking structure,
underground storm water retention, pedestrian bridge,
a toll plaza, and entrances and exits - were coordinated
to maintain the efficient operation of the airport. Because
of Epstein's phasing plan, Midway Airport remained fully
operational through all phases of construction. |
