W.W. Grainger, Inc. selected
Epstein to provide design/build services for a 10,000
square foot Disaster Recovery Data Center. The new data
center needed to be reliable, cost effective, and built
quickly within an existing distribution facility. Our
engineers and architects needed to analyze the existing
distribution center infrastructure to support the new
data center, and make improvements while maintaining ongoing
operations at the building. Along with the data center,
the following auxiliary spaces where required by Grainger.
One meeting room for 6-8 people, one unisex toilet, one
data control center, office area for four cubicles, future
office growth area, one battery room, and one electrical
room. |
