Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation retained Epstein, and its partner Baker Robins, to assess options related to expansion of its existing data center. Epstein provided engineering services to determine the issues and costs associated with expanding the existing data center, building a new data center, or relocating to another data center. Epstein performed field surveys, reviewed existing documents and systems, interviewed staff, developed conceptual space plans, and provided estimates for construction cost and schedule. Epstein's services included architecture, structural, electrical, mechanical, and telecommunications systems engineering.
