Epstein is providing full-service architecture and engineering services for this 150,000 square foot Corporate Headquarters and Produce Distribution Facility for Testa Produce, Inc. This facility will be located on an 11-acre brownfield site in the old meat packing district in Chicago Illinois. Testa's new Headquarters will feature 30,000 square feet of Class A office space and the Produce Distribution Facility will consist of a 15,000 square foot freezer, 50,000 square feet of cooler space, approximately 33,000 square feet of dry warehouse and 80 truck dock positions on a refrigerated dock. The new facility will feature sustainable design elements including a geothermal technology, wind turbines and solar voltaic panels to help achieve LEED-NC Platinum status.
