Epstein provided architectural, mechanical and electrical engineering services for various electrical and mechanical upgrades for 69 schools. Lighting upgrade projects involved replacing existing light fixtures with new energy-efficient fixtures and providing occupancy sensor controls for classroom lighting. Service upgrade projects involved replacing existing main switchboards with new, larger capacity switchboards and providing new UPS systems for the emergency lighting systems. LAN/Power projects involved providing power (receptacles and new panelboards) to support new computer equipment throughout the schools.
