Epstein was retained by Jones
to perform conceptual design and alternatives evaluation
for an expansion of a smoked ham plant producing Canadian
bacon, breakfast hams, boneless hams and bone-in hams.
Epstein personnel conducted on-site data collection, material
movement studies and simulation of operations for determining
the number of smoke houses and staging areas required
for current and projected production. Our engineers then
prepared conceptual level layouts of the alternatives
with cost estimates. |
