Epstein provided design, project management and construction management services for the renovation of this 33-story, 500,000 square foot high-rise hotel, residential condominium and apartment building located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The project included the renovation of 534 hotel rooms, 135 rental units and 149 luxury condominiums. Mechanical improvements were made in areas including the pool, entrances, kitchen, and equipment room. The exterior cladding was removed from the building and replaced with a technically-appropriate system for high-rise residential construction for this northern location of the United States.
