ISI has teamed with Google on three fast track projects in Santa Monica to build creative workplaces for its Engineering and Sales groups. Key design goals were promoting Google’s culture, flexibility, cost containment, and sustainability. All three projects involved renovation of existing space, and ‘googlizing’ the space by applying Google’s brand colors and space standards. Whenever possible, existing workstations were re-used, upgraded, and reconfigured to match typical Google layouts. The projects included new lighting, new finishes, and coordination with specialty consultants for audiovisual and technology requirements. All three projects were completed on time and Google was able to move in on its original target dates.
