Epstein’s lighting group provided design services for Freddie Mac’s new 50,000 square foot Technology Center located in Schaumburg, Illinois. The facility handles the national software development for the company and included a 1,200 square foot data center. The lighting design services included energy efficient T5 volumetric lighting for the open offices, private offices, and data center as well as decorative LED lighting in the main lobby. The design also included a lighting control system for the open offices along with occupancy sensors in the other areas to help reduce the energy use of the facility. In addition to Epstein’s lighting services, ISI, Epstein’s interior design subsidiary provided interior design services for this facility.
