A growing and very important part of our ser-vices is the evaluation of our clients’ manu-facturing and distribution networks in order to establish the best number, location and deter-mination of what materials should be manu-factured or distributed from which facilities. Studies typically include recommendations for network improvements within existing markets, best locations to service new markets and im-provements to customer service through better use of existing facilities and inventories. The underlying requirements in most studies are improvements in customer service and reduction in costs.
