This fast track project provided Fred Meyer, Inc. with a highly mechanized 313,000 square foot flow-through facility for domestic and imported products. The facility, located in Chehalis, Washington, was completed in less than 12 months from definition of need to commissioning. Epstein's fully integrated project team provided site selection, site master planning and site design, consulting on material handling systems and operating procedures, facility design from concept to construction drawings, approvals from local authorities, schedule and cost control, and coordination of all contractors.
