Epstein is providing civil engineering services for this 1.2 million square foot mixed-use development on the Chicago River consisting of a 60-story office tower and a 20-story hotel connected by a winter garden. The project includes a 1.5 acre plaza that will be converted to a City of Chicago public park. The plaza will span over the Amtrak rail lines and connect to the Chicago River. The building will utilize river water for the cooling system. Pedestrian access will be connected to the Lake Street bridge viaduct on the south and Canal Street on the west.
