The Smurfit-Stone Container
Building is a 41-story, 714,000 square foot office tower
located on the northwest corner of Michigan Avenue and
Randolph Street in Chicago. Located at the entrance to
Chicago's downtown area, the building has become a cultural
icon since its completion in 1984. The dramatically sloped
atrium at the upper third of the building which was canted
45 degrees has been featured in numerous postcards, posters,
television shows, and movies is definitely Epstein’s
most recognized architectural projects in our history. |
