provided design / build services for construction of
a 225,000 square foot ice cream processing plant in
Bakersfield, California. This project involved the design
and installation of refrigeration systems for the world's
largest ice cream manufacturing facility. The systems
consist of two low stages and two high stages. Extensive
process equipment requirements extend down to -49F.
Space requirements include a large Automatic Storage
Retrieval System at -20F. The system also produces chilled
water for plant air conditioning requirements and chilled
propylene glycol for process uses.
