Epstein provided architectural/engineering and construction management for a new state-of-the-art poultry plant, designed for the slaughter and processing of chickens, turkeys, geese and ducks. This facility located in Ilawa, Poland, contains all functions including slaughter, production, loading and unloading, administration under one roof. This plant is a prototype that will serve as a model for future poultry plants being developed by Animex S.A., the majority shareholder in Ekodrob S.A. The project meets all USDA and European Community standards and uses HACCP practices.
