Epstein is providing master planning, full architectural design, MEP engineering and structural engineering services for the IKEA - Poznan Boulevards, a 111,500 square meter, 175 million € retail development located in Poznan, a port city in western Poland. This retail center is being developed by the Swedish home goods giant IKEA and is scheduled to begin construction in 2008, with first phase occupancy in November of 2009. The first phase of the project is comprised of 71,500 square meters of retail space and features a food court, and over a 100 retailers providing home electronics, clothing and furniture/home furnishings. As part of this first phase 2,800 parking spaces will be provided via surface lots and an underground garage. The second 40,000 square meter phase is scheduled to be delivered in 2011.
