Epstein provided full-service architectural, engineering and construction management services for this 156,000 square foot expansion of a dry grocery distribution center and a 38-foot clear height roof raising on the existing 630,000 square foot facility located in Melrose Park, Illinois. The expansion combined with the raising of the roof to a clear height of 38 feet, will increase the capacity of this facility by more than 18.5 million cubic feet. The 630,000 square foot roof was raised 20 feet in five sequentially phased lifts, while maintaining full operation of the facility.
