This project involved the rehabilitation of this Strategic Regional Arterial. The goals of the project included: improving the riding quality and condition of the roadway surface and improving drainage facilities, improving the condition of the pedestrian walkways, including meeting all ADA requirements, complying with IDOT Standards, and enhancing the aesthetics of the roadway and neighborhood by introducing landscaping within the right of way. Epstein also managed Illinois Historic Preservation coordination and sign-off as well as coordination with local utilities and various city agencies.
